Home on the Farm: Sunday after church

Home on the Farm: Sunday after church
Monday mornig it is a nice 60 degrees. I am going out to take care of my animals. The aussies need to run for a few hours. I am going to survey the property and decide where to build my hen house. none of the work can start until June, but it is fun planning.
However my dh put a little wrench in the planning this morning when he called, he suggested we sell out and move up to the Saint Louis area.... I really think it would be a good idea, but I am waiting on the Lord! I said but I want a farm. He said we could buy 40 acres up there if we sold this. Waiting again upon the Lord, but going to occupy meanwhile! Sometimes I weary of the not knowing going on in my life, but have assured rest in knowin God is ultimately in control and do not worry conscerning the important spiritual aspects of life for I believe the Author and Finisher. So if he can do so great a work Spiritually He can also handle my material whats and wheres as well. Lord, keep me faithful! Show me Your way.
"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin." (Heb 12:1-4)

Sunday after church
As I told you in my introduction, I live on a 40 acre farm in Missouri. I attend when I am here a little Christian Church. I am a member of this church, but do not do anything to contribute anymore. I need prayer this can change, that this church will get on fire for Christ, and become evangelistic in nature. As with most rural areas of Missouri, there are hoards of unchurched folks out there in the community. These folks need to be reached for Christ, and we as a church body need to have the desire to bring them into our churches, to offer them something that will move them to a desire to first, know Christ, accept Christ as their Lord and Savior, and then to serve Him in the fellowship so that others in turn might get to Know Christ, accept Christ as their Lord and Savior, and then serve Him in the Fellowship so that others in turn might get to Know Christ..... You get what I mean. I need folks to pray for this little Church body, and that I might have a real active part in bringing others to knowing what the Church is sitting there for in the first place. I am most often visiting my adult children living in other communities, so unless God really shows me and confirms to me through this little church that I need to be active here in this fellowship, I fell I need to go elsewhere to determine what to do to serve Christ. I am concerned about this I am not a "People person" and so not the evangelist in practice, but in faith know there are those who can bring in those in the community, and I know my gifts are in administering programs like plays, Sunday schools, VBS's and concerts, women's meetings and other activities of this sort.
Any ideas and or comments would be appreciated! Thanks
